Orders

Displays pending buy and (or) sell instruction as specified by the customer. The page also enables customised searches, purchase, sale or cancel orders to customer’s stockbroker.

Customised Search: You can search for your pending purchase or sale orders with the instrument name and order number.

Placing Purchase Orders: To place purchase orders, click the "Place Buy Order" link on the Orders page. This action will generate an order form which you are expected to fill appropriately. Enter the number of units of the instrument that you wish to purchase or the total Naira value that you wish to spend on this deal.You may also enter an optional price limit, i.e. a maximum price over which the instrument should not be purchased, and an optional order expiry date, i.e. a date after which the order is automatically cancelled. When you have finished entering your parameters, click the "Place Order Buy" button, to add this order to a list of pending orders.
Placing Sale Orders: To place sale orders, click the "Place Sell Order" link on the page. Enter the number of units of the instrument that you wish to sell or the total Naira value that you wish to realise on the sale of the instrument.You may also enter an optional price limit, i.e. a minimum price below which the instrument should not be sold, and an optional order expiry date, i.e. a date after which the order is automatically cancelled. On completion of the form, click the "Place Sell Order" button, to add this order to a list of pending orders.
Cancelling Orders: To cancel an order, click the "Cancel Now" link to the right of the particular order that you wish to cancel and click the "OK" button of the "Cancel Order" form.
Approved Orders: The approved orders list. Details of any order can be viewed by clicking on the order number you wish to view. And cancel and order click on Cancel.
